When you visit our website, engage TaxBoutique to provide services, or request more information about us, we collect information automatically using tracking technologies, like cookies and tracking pixels.
Event and training registration - When you register for, or have been registered for TaxBoutique training or events, we collect information such as name, address, phone number, and email address. We use this information to communicate with you and in some cases facilitate your registration and delivery of the training.
We will only collect personal information from you where it is reasonably necessary for us to provide our services to you or to perform our functions or activities.
How we use personal data
To communicate with you about the product and services. We use the information you provide to us when signing up or registering for our products and services, to send you emails about billing and other administrative matters.
For marketing and promotion purposes. We use the information you provide to advertise, market, and promote our products, services, and other offerings. For example, we use information like your email to send information or content we think may be of interest to you. We may also send you marketing communications relating to TaxBoutique.
You may opt out of receiving this promotional content by following the instructions contained in each communication that we send to you. If you unsubscribe from our marketing lists, we will continue to contact you regarding administrative matters, and to respond to your requests.
Monitoring and administration of the website. We may use personal information you supply for internal management purposes.
How do we hold information about you?

We secure the personal information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. All personal information is protected using appropriate physical, technical and organisational measures.
Our website and CRM, Zoom and Microsoft servers are domiciled in Australia.
Data retention and deletion
How long we keep information we collect about you depends on the type of information and how we collect and store it. After a reasonable period of time, we will either delete or anonymise your information or, if this is not possible, then we will securely store your information and isolate it from any further use until deletion is possible.
We retain personal information that you provide to us where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we securely delete the information or anonymise it or, if this is not possible, securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible. We will delete this information at an earlier date if you request us to do so.
If you have elected to receive marketing communications from us, we retain information about your marketing preferences for a reasonable period of time from the date you last expressed interest in our content, products, or services, such as when you last opened an email from us or ceased using our services. We retain information derived from cookies and other tracking technologies for a reasonable period of time from the date such information was created.
Seeking or correcting personal information

We try and ensure that personal information is up to date but where there are errors, or inaccuracies, we would be grateful if you could let us know either by calling us or emailing hello@taxbourtique.com.au
If you wish to have your personal information removed from our records, you may request that your personal information be deleted or destroyed.
